"Dino" is a 1990 Mazda Miata ("A" package...alloy wheels, AM/FM stereo cassette, power steering, leather wrapped wheel and A/C) that came to live with us on July 3, 1989. Having been on order since April, he was to replace our '72 MGB and find a place in our family. We've loved sports cars for a long time, and since this is probably as close as we'll ever get to owning a Ferrari, he earned the name "Dino" (who was Enzo Ferraris son and a famous Ferrari model was named in his honor) and the vanity plate "R-4RE" (our Ferrari). You can read of some of the fun we've had together in the Family Adventures pages. There are a few more pics of him here.
It's been driven (parade laps) on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Pocono Raceway, Gateway International (oval and road course), Texas Motor Speedway and the Daytona Beach Speedway (oval and road course), and done 'hot laps' at Putnam Park Raceway.
